Job summary

Ascendion is seeking a QA Analyst to ensure SIT and UAT readiness across cycles and builds. You will define entry/exit gates, verify environments, and oversee regression scope based on changes and defect history.

You will monitor defect aging, provide insights to stakeholders, and support from requirements analysis to test closure, including UAT defect leakage reporting and test strategy collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Define, enforce, and evidence SIT entry/exit gates for each cycle/build
• Verify environment readiness - version/build alignment, integration availability, freeze windows, change windows
• Select/review regression scope based on code change sets and defect history
• Monitor defect aging & trend analytics - arrival vs. closure, severity mix, reopen rate, present insights to project management and relevant stakeholders
• During the UAT Support phase, ensure that the UAT defect fixes are tested in SIT before the planned deployment of the fixes in UAT, analysis and report of the UAT defects leakage
• During the Hypercare Support phase, ensure that the UAT defect fixes are tested in SIT before the planned deployment of the fixes in UAT, analysis of the defects and check SIT execution and test evidence.
• Define and plan SIT - functional test quality assurance and technical test quality assurance
• Report progress on daily/ weekly basis to Testing Manager on SIT progress and quality -- "readiness for UAT"
• Responsible from Requirements Analysis until Test Closure and to provide testing support during UAT execution and Post-Production Warranty period
• Review and delegate to testers of appending the test cases numbers to ensure that all testable requirements are covered
• Assist Test Manager on test strategy and test approach
