Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc is seeking a Test Engineer in Taguig City, Metro Manila, to bring up and maintain production test stations for consumer electronics. You will collaborate with fixture vendors and CMs, conduct failure triage, and drive root cause analysis to improve yield and reliability.

The role requires 2–5+ years in hardware testing, hands-on experience with test stations, and skills in Python/LabVIEW/C++ for automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in EE, ECE, or Computer Engineering.
• 2–5+ years in hardware testing and validation.
• Hands-on experience bringing up, qualifying, and maintaining production test stations.
• Experience with fixture vendors and CMs on test station design and qualification.
• Proficiency in failure triage: systematic debugging of hardware test failures at station and DUT level.
• Experience tracking and managing action items during FBU/development builds.
• Ability to analyze test data, identify yield outliers, and drive root cause analysis.
• Familiarity with OK2Test (OKT) and OK2Ship (OKS) readiness checklist processes.
• Experience writing and maintaining test scripts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ability to train production technicians on test equipment operation.

• Exposure to SMT-level testing (ICT, flying probe, AOI) and sub-assembly test.
• Programming skills: Python, LabVIEW, C++ for test automation and data analysis.
• Experience with RF, cellular (5G/LTE), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC functional testing.
• Familiarity with Teradyne, National Instruments (NI), or equivalent ATE platforms.
• Data analysis tools: SQL, Tableau, Power BI for yield dashboard creation.
• Experience with camera, audio, display, or biometric sensor test methodologies.
• Knowledge of IPC standards and product qualification testing (MIL-STD, JEDEC).
• Experience in sustaining test engineering (post-MP continuous improvement).
