Job summary

Letchi Express Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking hardworking Terminal Clearance Assistants to support airport cargo operations at Changi Airfreight Centre. You will handle cargo clearance, loading, unloading, storage and sorting.

The role requires a valid forklift licence, ability to start immediately, physical fitness for lifting, basic English, teamwork, willingness to work permanent night shifts and a six-day week; airport terminal or import clearance experience is a plus, and security

About the role

We are looking for hardworking and dependable Terminal Clearance Assistants to support airport cargo operations at Changi Airfreight Centre. Your main duties will include cargo clearance, loading and unloading, storage, and parcel sorting.

Key responsibilities

• Handle import cargo clearance and retrieve or tender cargo at airport cargo terminals.

• Check cargo against supporting documents and maintain accurate records.

• Load and unload cargo from company vehicles.

• Receive, sort and store cargo, and prepare goods for delivery or shipment.

• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move pallets and irregular-sized cargo.

• Assist with cargo breakdown, palletising and shrink wrapping.

• Coordinate with contractors assisting with loading and unloading.

• Maintain a safe and tidy work area.

About you

• Valid forklift licence required.

• Able to start work immediately.

• Physically fit and able to lift and move cargo.

• Basic spoken and written English.
