Telecom Vendor Coordinator
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Telecom Vendor Coordinator to serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and telecommunications service providers. This role is responsible for ensuring the availability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness of telecom services across all branches through effective vendor coordination, incident management, service monitoring, and contract administration.
The ideal candidate has experience coordinating with internet service providers (ISPs), managing telecom service requests, tracking incidents, and supporting vendor management initiatives to ensure seamless connectivity and operational continuity.
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and telecommunications vendors, including ISPs, carriers, and service providers.
Coordinate the installation, activation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom services across multiple branches and locations.
Facilitate effective communication between internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Ensure vendor responsiveness and service delivery in accordance with agreed service levels.
Monitor and coordinate the resolution of telecom-related incidents, including internet outages, data link disruptions, and service degradation.
Escalate critical service issues to vendors and track progress through resolution.
Ensure timely restoration of services while minimizing business disruption.
Maintain incident logs and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of telecom incidents, service requests, vendor communications, and resolutions.
Prepare periodic reports on telecom service performance, incident trends, and vendor responsiveness.
Monitor telecom expenses and assist in identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
Support management reporting through data analysis and operational metrics.
Monitor vendor performance and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
Assist in managing vendor relationships and service improvement initiatives.
Coordinate contract renewals, service modifications, and vendor-related documentation.
Support procurement and business units in reviewing telecom service agreements and vendor proposals.
Evaluate existing telecommunications services and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with Telco Account Managers and service providers to implement service enhancements.
Research industry trends and emerging telecommunications solutions that support business requirements.
Participate in projects related to branch connectivity and telecommunications infrastructure improvements.
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
At least 1-3 years of experience in telecommunications, vendor coordination, IT operations, administrative support, facilities coordination, or a related role.
Experience coordinating telecommunications services, internet connectivity, data links, or vendor-managed services is an advantage.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships, academic projects, or organizational leadership experience are welcome to apply.
Basic understanding of telecommunications services, internet connectivity, data links, and related network services.
Experience in service request coordination, incident management, and issue escalation.
Knowledge of vendor coordination, service performance monitoring, and telecommunications administration.
Ability to analyze vendor performance, service costs, and operational reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with reporting tools, ticketing systems, or service management platforms is an advantage.
