Job summary

John Clements Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Connector to support US-based detailing projects by creating precise 3D Tekla models and developing steel connections.

You will interpret engineered drawings, ensure modeling accuracy, apply AISC standards, and collaborate with global teams to meet project schedules and quality requirements. This is a full-time role based in the Philippines with opportunities to advance detailing expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in structural steel modeling and connection detailing for US-based projects.
• Proficient with AISC standards.
• Hands-on experience with Tekla Structures, including macros and custom components.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing using design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D models of structural steel structures using Tekla Structures.
• Interpret engineered design drawings and translate requirements into models.
• Model and develop structural steel connections per drawings and specifications.
• Utilize Tekla Structures macros to improve efficiency.
• Review models and drawings for accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Identify and resolve modeling or connection issues before client submission.
• Collaborate with project teams across geographies to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure drawings and models conform to drafting and quality standards.
