Job Description

The Reloads Tribe is seeking a Solution Architect to design resilient, high-performance systems that support airtime reloads, top-ups, and credit/loan solutions at scale. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture of real‑time financial services that millions of subscribers depend on daily. We’re looking for an architect who brings strong engineering discipline, DevOps maturity, and hands‑on experience in building scalable and automated systems using modern cloud technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable solutions for replenishment and loan services within the prepaid ecosystem.
• Lead the design and implementation, overseeing end‑to‑end cloud‑native solutions using AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with squads to implement DevOps practices—including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, and full automation.
• Perform architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and tribe‑level strategies.
• Guide and ensure optimal data modeling and storage using both NoSQL MongoDB and relational databases PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• At least 15 years of total experience and a minimum of 10 years in solutions architecture.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with a background in software engineering or system integration roles.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC, and environment automation.
• Familiarity with airtime reloads, credit, and loan transaction flows or similar telco financial services.
• Strong hands‑on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient in GoLang, or comfortable working with teams using Go for backend services.
• Solid understanding of modern system design, database modeling, and integration architectures.
