Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

The Reloads Tribe is seeking a Solution Architect to design resilient, high-performance systems that support airtime reloads, top-ups, and credit/loan solutions at scale. You will play a key role in shaping the architecture of real-time financial services that millions of subscribers depend on daily.Weʼre looking for an architect who brings strong engineering discipline, DevOps maturity, and hands-on experience in building scalable and automated systems using modern cloud technologies.

Your Day in the Life in Your Role

• Design & Develop reliable, secure, and scalable solutions for replenishment and loan services within the prepaid ecosystem.
• Translate complex business needs into well-architected systems using microservices and event-driven patterns.
• Lead the design and implementation and oversee end-to-end cloud-native solutions using AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with squads to implement DevOps practices—including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and full automation.
• Perform architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and tribe-level strategies.
• Guide and ensure optimal data modelling and storage using both NoSQL MongoDB and relational databases PostgreSQL.

Job Qualifications

• At least 15 years of total experience, and with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Solutions Architecture.
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect, with prior background in software engineering or system integration roles.
• Deep understanding of DevOps principles, including CI/CD, IaC (Infrastructure as Code), and environment automation.
• Familiarity with airtime reloads, credit, and loan transaction flows or similar telco financial services.
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficient in Golang, or comfortable working with teams using Go for backend services.
• Solid understanding of modern system design, database modelling, and integration architectures.
