Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an experienced engineer to provide support in product set-up and problem isolation.

You will perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test, and work with engineers on test requirements, quality improvements, test package qualification and releases, hardware maintenance, and achieving department goals.

Qualifications

• BS Electronics Technology or related technical/vocational course.
• 5 years working experience.
• Strong electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Proficient with MS Office.
• Team player and able to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Basic knowledge in programming language such as C or C++.
• Familiarity with RF, Mixed Signal and Digital product testing.
• Hands-on experience with ATE equipment such as Nextest, Credence D10, LTX Fusion, M3650, M3300, LTX DiamondX, Spea C600, Advantest V93K, Teradyne.

Other responsibilities also include working with Engineers in test requirements, quality improvements, test package qualification and releases, hardware maintenance, as well as meeting departmental goals.

Requirements/Qualifications

• Education Level BS Electronics Technology or any related technical/vocational courses
• Working experience 5 years
• Good in electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good in oral and written communication.
• Proficient use of computer software such as MS Office.
• Team player & can communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Basic knowledge in programming language such C, or C++.
• Familiarity on RF, Mixed Signal and Digital product testing.
• Hands-on working experience in ATE such as Nextest testers (PT, HD, GT, and VT), Credence D10, LTX Fusion, M3650, M3300, LTX DiamondX, Spea C600, Advantest V93K, Teradyne and other equivalent ATE.
