Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. in Laguna, Philippines, is seeking an experienced engineer to provide production test support and problem isolation for new and existing products.

You will verify test requirements, perform first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues, and collaborate with test teams to qualify and release test packages. The role demands a BS Electronics Technology, at least 5 years in electronics test, and hands-on experience with ATE systems and RF/digital/mixed-signal

Qualifications

• BS Electronics Technology or related technical courses required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics testing/production.
• Strong electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Familiar with RF, mixed-signal and digital testing.
• Hands-on experience with ATE systems such as Nextest, Credence, LTX, Advantest, Teradyne.

Job Description

Provide engineering support in product set-up and problem isolation. Perform verification and first level root cause analysis on yield and quality issues during production test. Other responsibilities also include working with Engineers in test requirements, quality improvements, test package qualification and releases, hardware maintenance, as well as meeting departmental goals.

• Good in electronics fundamentals and analytical skills.
• Good in oral and written communication.
• Proficient use of computer software such as MS Office.
• Team player & can communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to work independently and systematically.
• Basic knowledge in programming language such C, or C++.
• Familiarity on RF, Mixed Signal and Digital product testing.
• Hands-on working experience in ATE such as Nextest testers (PT, HD, GT, and VT), Credence D10, LTX Fusion, M3650, M3300, LTX DiamondX, Spea C600, Advantest V93K, Teradyne and other equivalent ATE.
