Job summary

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking an experienced electro-mechanical technician in Laguna to sustain and maintain manufacturing equipment across Front of Line, End of Line, or Test Assembly areas.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and execute equipment repairs to ensure continuous production. The role requires 5+ years in a semiconductor setting, strong mechanical and electrical skills, and the ability to work from layout plans and manuals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Front of Line, End of Line, or Test Assembly operations.
• Ability to dismantle, repair and assemble electro-mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical, electronic or mechanical faults in electro-mechanical equipment used in manufacturing; perform preventive maintenance as assigned.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair and reassemble equipment according to layout plans and manuals.
• Use test and diagnostic equipment for checks; rebuild equipment as required; may undertake equipment modification projects.

Job Description

• Responsible in sustaining and maintenance of electro mechanical equipments, jigs, toolings and logistics at Front of Line, End of Line (Back End) or Test assembly.
• Specific Duties and Responsibilities
• Performs electrical, electronics or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process. Perform PM as assigned.
• Dismantles, adjusts, repairs and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
• Uses test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts. Rebuilds manufacturing equipment as required.
• May perform equipment modifications and projects as directed by manufacturing engineer, supervisor or manager.

Electronics/Electrical-, Electromechanical- / Mechatronics- / Instrumentation & Control- Technology or Engineering

Work Experience

At least 5 yrs of experience in Semiconductor company, assigned either in Front of Line or End of Line (Back End) or Test Assembly
