The role involves supporting users, resolving technical issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring reliable IT operations.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues involving hardware, software, and networks.
Support the team in planning, design, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.
Maintain computer systems and networks to ensure optimal performance.
Provide technical assistance to users and guide them through troubleshooting procedures.
Provide remote technical support through phone, email, or remote desktop.
Troubleshoot and maintain computer networks and related equipment.
Maintain accurate records of technical issues, solutions, and user interactions.
Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional team members to ensure quality deliverables are completed efficiently and on schedule.
Develop and maintain a knowledge base of technical solutions.
Perform other related IT and technical tasks as assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
Proven work experience as a Technical Support Engineer or in a similar IT role.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN/WAN, subnetting, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
Knowledge and experience in configuring and troubleshooting Wi‑Fi, Ethernet, VPN, and other network technologies.
Knowledge in Cloud Computing Technologies.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, security posture, and best practices.
Experience with Endpoint Security, Network Firewalls, and Network Switches.
Ability to perform remote troubleshooting and provide clear technical instructions.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
