Job summary

Responsibilities

• Developing and conducting comprehensive training programs for drivers, covering safe driving practices, defensive driving, vehicle operation, road safety, proper vehicle handling, and compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
• Facilitating classroom and practical driving sessions.
• Conducting skills assessments.
• Providing coaching and refresher training to ensure drivers meet required safety, technical, and performance standards.
• Operating a forklift and conducting basic forklift-related training, safety orientation, and competency assessments.
• Supporting the professional development of drivers by providing training on customer service, communication, workplace discipline, proper conduct, and other competencies essential to their roles.
• Evaluating individual performance, identifying training and competency gaps, maintaining accurate training records, and preparing reports on training results and effectiveness.
• Working closely with Operations, HR, and other departments to ensure continuous driver development while promoting a strong culture of safety, professionalism, operational excellence, and continuous learning.

About the Role

The Trainer evaluates individual performance, identifies training and competency gaps, maintains accurate training records, and prepares reports on training results and effectiveness.
