Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking a Technical Services Engineer - Avionics. The role, based in Pasay City with hybrid work setup, focuses on ensuring airworthiness and reliability of our growing fleet.

You will work within the Avionics department to analyze manuals and instructions, coordinate with manufacturers, and implement aircraft improvements. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in CAMO or as a licensed avionics mechanic, with PRC engineering license and AMOS familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation-related four-year course.
• Minimum of four years experience as an Avionics Technical Services Engineer in a CAMO environment or as a Licensed Avionics Mechanic with at least 4 years in Technical Services.
• PRC Engineering license and AMOS familiarity are preferred.
• Must have valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Studies and analyzes all pertinent correspondences, manuals and publications issued by the Aircraft and component manufacturers for possible inclusion in the Aircraft Operations Specifications.
• Studies, analyzes and issues instruction on inspection and modifications issued by State of Design, CAAP and manufacturers to meet implementation targets.
• Evaluates and issues recommendations on Vendors’ Technical Specifications proposals for Aircraft and Avionics Equipment.
• Coordinates with Aircraft and Avionics manufacturers on observed malfunctions not in approved manuals.
• Evaluates, coordinates, recommends, designs and approves aircraft improvements such as modifications and part upgrades.
• Forwards annual and unscheduled DFDR and CVR data to contracted service provider per due date.
• Reviews component fleet reliability to determine optimal protection level and spare requirements.
• Participate in CEB SMS and report accidents, incidents and hazards.

Primary Responsibilities

• Studies and analyzes all pertinent correspondences, manuals and publications periodically issued by the Aircraft, and component manufacturers for possible inclusion in the company’s Aircraft Operations Specifications
• Studies, analyzes and issues instruction on optional, recommended and mandatory inspection and modifications issued by State of Design, CAAP and component manufacturers to meet implementation target.
• Evaluates and issues recommendation on all Vendors’ Technical Specifications proposal for Aircraft and Avionics Equipment.
• Coordinates with the Aircraft and Avionics manufacturers all observed malfunctions that are not in the approved manual references.
• Evaluates, coordinates, recommends, designs and approves aircraft improvements such as modifications and part upgrade for aircraft systems and components as required.
• Forwards annual and unscheduled (non-incident/accident related) DFDR and CVR data directly to a contracted service provider based from the allotted due date.
• Periodically reviews component fleet reliability to determine optimum protection level and provides recommended spare level to ensure continuous and undisrupted operation.
• To actively participate in CEB SMS by ensuring highest reasonable level of safety performance is achieved by complying with applicable safety and security laws, regulations and standards and by reporting all accidents, incidents and hazards.

• Minimum of four (4) years experience as an Avionics Technical Services Engineer in a CAMO environment or a Licensed Avionics Mechanic with at least 4 years experience in Technical Services
• PRC Engineering license and AMOS Familiarity is preferred

Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
