Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking an Application Security Architect to develop and execute strategic security solutions aligned with our risk appetite and business goals. You will lead security technologies deployment, IAM across third parties, and ongoing threat monitoring.

The role requires a strong background in modern security principles, DevSecOps, and cloud-native architectures, with at least 7–10 years of experience and a valid Philippines work authorization.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develops and executes strategic security solutions to counteract current and emerging cyber threats, aligning with the organization's risk appetite and business goals.
• Leads the implementation and deployment of security technologies and solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, encryption tools, and more.
• Leads identity and access management for third-party collaborators, business partners, and freelancers, ensuring secure and authorized access.
• Conduct thorough reviews and documentation of perimeter security functions to fortify the organization's defenses.
• Oversees the continuous monitoring of security threats and vulnerabilities, leveraging tools and resources to detect and mitigate potential breaches.
• Collaborate on root cause analyses of security incidents and recommend actionable improvements.
• Investigates solution architecture and recommend enhancements.
• Promotes security awareness and education across the organization to cultivate a culture of security.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• CISSP/CISM/CISAor other similar IT Security certification is preferred.
• Must have a strong understanding of identity and access management, security metrics, and perimeter security.
• Must have in-depth understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry standards to design and implement effective security solutions.
• Must have familiarity with perimeter security functions, methodologies, and technologies.
• Must have an understandingofsolution architecture investigation techniques, logical and physical, toidentifysecurity gaps.
• Must have a strongbackground inmonitoring and reporting on key security metrics,reviewing and documenting perimeter security functions, andincident detection, escalation, and response.
• Experience of 5 years managing a team.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Security Architect
• Must have a strong background on Architecting, deployment, operationalization and standardization of modern Application Security Solutions from code layer to traffic layer.
• Experience working and deploying in DevSecOps or Secure SDLC environments.
• Strong understanding of modern application architectures (API, microservices, cloud-native, containers).
• Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines.
