Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a WordPress Developer to build, maintain, and optimise WordPress sites for large multi-location service businesses. You will develop templates, improve speed, and configure plugins while ensuring scalable, clean code.

Responsibilities include site auditing, diagnosing performance issues, and implementing technical SEO improvements in collaboration with the Marketing Team Leader. The role offers a hybrid work model with comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: SEO, digital marketing or related role with agency/multi-client experience.
• Strong SEO fundamentals incl. keyword research, on-page and technical SEO.
• Experience with GA4, GSC, and supporting GA/ads campaigns.
• Hands-on WordPress management, updates, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise WordPress sites for multi-location businesses.
• Develop templates, layouts, and scalable page structures.
• Improve speed, responsiveness, and performance.
• Configure plugins, caching, and integrations; troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain staging/deployment environments with clean, scalable code.
• Audit websites to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and decide on repair/rebuild.
