Elanco is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive livestock business growth in the Philippines, focusing on poultry and swine producers. You will deliver expert technical solutions, manage partnerships, and apply the Customer Value Selling (CVS) process to maximize market impact.

Responsibilities include applying scientific knowledge, maintaining customer knowledge, and executing effective sales calls. Travel is expected at about 80% with location in Mindanao (South Mindanao region).

Your Role: Technical Sales Representative

Drive livestock business growth in the Philippines by delivering expert technical solutions and product knowledge to poultry and swine producers. Execute data-driven sales strategies and manage key partnerships through Elanco’s "Customer Value Selling" (CVS) process to maximize market impact.

Your Responsibilities:

SELLING

Scientific Knowledge

• Applies knowledge on Animal Health management
• Applies Elanco product and competitive knowledge
• Uses sales aids, trial data and other scientific materials effectively
• Understands Elanco organization

Customer Knowledge and Relationships

• Understands animal industry specifically livestock (Poultry and Swine)
• Understands types of customers
• Follows ethical and legal guidelines (i.e. Good Promotional Practices)
• Stays current on competitor’s products
• Applies product knowledge to achieve goals
• Leverages each interaction with customers through professionalism, respect, integrity, expertise, relationships and passion (Every Interaction Matters)
• Introduces new products compounds to the customer
• Knows the customer’s business
• Builds relationships with gatekeepers who can influence the customer
• Actively seeks customer feedback
• Addresses customer questions, concerns and complaints promptly and accurately
• Shares effective techniques and product marketing strategies with team members
• Collaborate with Channel Partners in managing the assigned area

Execute the Sales Call

• Analyzes information, set objectives, uses appropriate resources
• Effectively engages customer.
• Delivers core messages based on customer needs, insights and segments
• Execute the Customer Value Selling (CVS) Process in performing sales calls
• Collaborates with colleagues to leverage our collective understanding and interaction with the customer
• Plans, delivers and evaluates sales presentations
• Records details of the sales call and prepares next call objective using SFE tool.
• Balances product portfolio with customers
• Implements marketing programs with quality

What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree with equivalent level of experience
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in livestock (Poultry and Swine) industry.
