Lavasource is a specialist HR technology and transformation consultancy. We help organizations select, implement, integrate and optimise HR technology, bringing together deep HR expertise, strong technical capability and a practical understanding of organisational change.

We are also developing our own digital products, including the Gaia community and talent marketplace, alongside new AI-enabled services and integration capabilities.

The role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to coordinate and drive delivery across a growing portfolio of internal technology initiatives.

The role will cover projects spanning cloud infrastructure and security, Monday.com, AI, systems integration, the Gaia talent marketplace and other product development activity. You will work with internal specialists, external development partners and business stakeholders to turn ideas and requirements into well-controlled, successfully delivered solutions.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who can bring structure to a fast‑moving environment without creating unnecessary bureaucracy. You will need to be comfortable moving between strategic priorities, technical conversations and detailed delivery management.

Key responsibilities

• Own and maintain an integrated delivery plan across Lavasource’s technology portfolio.


• Translate business objectives into clear project scope, requirements, milestones and deliverables.


• Coordinate projects covering:

• Run project kick‑offs, sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, delivery reviews and retrospectives.


• Maintain project plans, priorities, actions, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.


• Coordinate internal team members, freelancers, software vendors and external delivery partners.


• Ensure that responsibilities, deadlines and acceptance criteria are clearly understood.


• Monitor budgets, supplier effort and delivery against agreed scope.


• Identify delivery risks early and elevate them with clear recommendations.


• Coordinate testing, user acceptance, release readiness and production deployment.


• Ensure that appropriate security, data protection, documentation and governance requirements are incorporated into delivery.


• Provide concise, accurate progress reporting for senior stakeholders.


• Help establish consistent but lightweight delivery standards as Lavasource builds its internal technology capability.


• Support the transition of knowledge and responsibilities from external suppliers to the internal team.


• Continuously identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve delivery and make better use of automation.

Experience and capabilities

• At least five years’ experience managing technical, digital or software delivery projects.


• Experience delivering several concurrent projects with multiple stakeholders and dependencies.


• Strong understanding of agile delivery methods, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, backlog management and retrospectives.


• Experience working with software developers, cloud engineers, technical architects and external technology suppliers.


• Practical experience using Monday.com or a comparable work‑management platform.


• Sufficient technical understanding to work confidently across cloud infrastructure, APIs, system integrations, databases and software development.


• Strong project planning, prioritisation, risk management and reporting skills.


• Experience coordinating testing, deployment and operational handover.


• Excellent written and spoken English.


• Ability to communicate technical matters clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.


• Strong ownership mentality, attention to detail and willingness to follow through until work is complete.


• Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues in the UK and other international locations.


• Direct experience of configuring or administering Monday.com.


• Experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure or cloud transformation projects.


• Experience delivering AI, automation or agentic technology initiatives.


• Familiarity with API‑led integrations and tools such as Zapier, Make or Workato.


• Experience with online marketplaces, community platforms or SaaS product development.


• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data privacy and secure software delivery.


• Experience working in HR technology, professional services or a consultancy environment.


• Relevant project or agile certification, such as PRINCE2, PMP, Scrum Master or AgilePM.
