Job summary

Countrywide Water Services Inc. seeks a Technical Operations and Services Manager to lead its technical services functions, including maintenance, asset management, process engineering, regulatory compliance, and project execution across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Sanitary, or related field.
• Preferably a licensed Engineer.
• Training in Water and Wastewater Operations, STP, Desalination, Environmental Compliance, Project Management and OSH.
• PCO accreditation is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years in facilities operations with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, and technicians within Technical Services.
• Oversee operation, maintenance, and performance of water and wastewater facilities including STP and desalination systems.

Job Summary

The Technical Operations and Services Manager leads the company's technical services functions, including maintenance and asset management, process engineering, regulatory and environmental compliance, and project implementation. The role ensures efficient, reliable, and compliant operation of water and wastewater facilities, with must-have experience in Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations and desalination systems, while overseeing maintenance programs, technical projects, and teams across multiple sites.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise engineers, supervisors, and technical personnel under the Technical Services Department; cascade management directives and ensure delivery of technical services.
• Oversee the operation, maintenance, and performance of water and wastewater facilities, including STP, desalination systems, water processing assets, and related electromechanical equipment.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for equipment and facilities across multiple sites; manage asset reliability, lifecycle planning, and operational efficiency.
• Provide technical oversight on water and wastewater process operations, recommend process improvements, and support troubleshooting of operational and treatment-related issues.
• Manage technical projects, facility upgrades, civil works, and infrastructure improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal teams, contractors, consultants, and regulatory agencies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements, including oversight or coordination of Pollution Control Officer (PCO) functions, and prepare technical reports and recommendations for management.

Technical Competencies And Skills

• MUST-HAVE: Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) operations and desalination systems operations
• Facilities Operations & Maintenance (O&M), preferably across multiple equipment and sites
• Water and wastewater process operations, process engineering, and technical troubleshooting
• Preventive and corrective maintenance management; asset management and equipment reliability
• Project management for water processing, facility upgrades, civil works, and infrastructure improvements
• Regulatory and environmental compliance management, including PCO coordination or management
• Safety management, contractor/stakeholder management, multi-site operations management, and team leadership

Education, Trainings And Licenses Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering: Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, Environmental, Sanitary, or related Engineering discipline.
• Preferably a licensed Engineer.
• Relevant training/certification in Water and Wastewater Operations, STP Operations, Desalination Systems, Environmental Compliance and Pollution Control, Project Management, and Occupational Safety and Health.
• Pollution Control Officer (PCO) accreditation is an advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in facilities operations and maintenance, utilities, water and wastewater operations, manufacturing facilities, or industrial operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
