Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a Technical Lead to guide our development team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. This full-time role focuses on architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and delivering robust software solutions.

You will partner with product managers, drive code quality, design scalable systems, and foster DevOps practices across projects. A strong background in software architecture and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrable expertise in at least one programming language.
• 3+ years in technical leadership or team lead capacity, mentoring developers.
• Strong proficiency in software architecture and design patterns; ability to make sound technical decisions.
• Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
• Proven experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of database design, SQL/NoSQL technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable.

As a Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading development teams, making architectural decisions, and mentoring junior developers whilst maintaining technical excellence across our projects. What we're looking for:

• Comprehensive knowledge of full software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse complex technical issues and implement effective solutions

• Proven experience with version control systems, continuous integration and deployment pipelines

• Solid understanding of database design, optimisation and SQL/NoSQL technologies

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent professional experience)

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable

• Knowledge of security best practices and code security principles is a plus
