Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Lead Developer is responsible for leadingthe design, development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of thecompany’s applications and systems. The role provides technical leadership indeveloping effective solutions, managing system architecture and deployments,and ensuring applications are secure, scalable, reliable, and efficient.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development & ApplicationMaintenance

• Analyze requirements and translate them intofunctional and maintainable software solutions.
• Develop new application features andfunctionalities.
• Modify, optimize, and maintain existing andlegacy code.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, applicationtroubleshooting, and issue resolution.
• Ensure applications are reliable,maintainable, and meet defined requirements.

Framework & Application EnvironmentManagement

• Develop and maintain applications using thecompany’s in-house framework.
• Modify and enhance the in-house frameworkbased on technical and business requirements.
• Configure and maintain application servers andrelated application environments.
• Ensure proper configuration and compatibilityacross development and deployment environments.

Deployment, Monitoring & Backup Management

• Perform sandbox and production applicationdeployments following established procedures.
• Monitor automated jobs and system processesand address issues promptly.
• Manage application and database backupprocesses.
• Perform backup validation and recovery testingto ensure data integrity and system recoverability.
• Support the stability and availability ofapplications in production environments.

System Architecture & Technical Leadership

• Design and evaluate system architecture basedon business and technical requirements.
• Develop technical solutions for complexrequirements and system challenges.
• Ensure applications are designed forscalability, security, performance, and efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship todevelopers.
• Collaborate with Support Engineers,developers, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues and delivereffective solutions.
• Promote coding standards, development bestpractices, and continuous technical improvement.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’sdegree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering,or a related field.

Experience

• Atleast 5 years of experience in Software Development, ApplicationDevelopment, or a related role.
• Atleast 1 year of experience in a Senior Developer, Lead Developer, orsimilar technical leadership role.
• Experiencedeveloping, maintaining, and troubleshooting SaaS applications or businesssoftware solutions is highly preferred.
• Strongprogramming, coding, debugging, and application troubleshooting skills.
• Strongunderstanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and softwaredevelopment best practices.
• Experienceworking with application frameworks, including modifying and enhancingexisting or in-house frameworks.
• Experiencewith application server configuration and application deployment.
• Knowledgeof database management, application and database backup, and recoveryprocesses.
• Strongunderstanding of system architecture, scalability, security, performance,and application efficiency.
• Excellentproblem-solving and technical decision-making abilities.
