Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a Technical Lead to guide our development team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. This full-time role focuses on architectural decisions, mentoring developers, and delivering robust software solutions.

You will partner with product managers, drive code quality, design scalable systems, and foster DevOps practices across projects. A strong background in software architecture and cloud platforms is essential.

Qualifications

7+ years of professional software development experience with demonstrable expertise in at least one programming language.
3+ years in technical leadership or team lead capacity, mentoring developers.
Strong proficiency in software architecture and design patterns; ability to make sound technical decisions.
Comprehensive knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
Proven experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.
Solid understanding of database design, SQL/NoSQL technologies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field (or equivalent).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-team collaboration.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
Design and architect scalable software solutions aligned with business needs.
Oversee technical implementation, ensuring coding standards and QA.
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into specs.
Identify and resolve technical challenges, bottlenecks, and performance issues.
Establish and maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and processes.
Participate in technology evaluations and recommendations for tools, frameworks, platforms.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and code quality.
Represent the technical team in cross-functional meetings and report progress to management.
