MMI in Valenzuela City is seeking a purchasing professional to manage RFQs, source suppliers, review quotations, and issue POs. You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and accurate documentation.
Fresh graduates with strong technical and analytical skills are encouraged to apply. 1–2 years of purchasing experience and MS Office proficiency will help you succeed in this role.
Receive and review RFQs from QSEC (JE/Bid).
Source suppliers and request quotations, brochures, and technical documents.
Evaluate supplier quotations based on specifications, pricing, and lead time.
Prepare and send Purchase Orders (POs) to suppliers.
Process Requests for Payment (RFP) for approved POs.
Monitor PO status and delivery schedules up to ready date.
Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding purchasing concerns.
Maintain proper filing of quotations, POs, receiving reports, and related documents.
Gather manuals and spare parts lists from suppliers.
Perform other purchasing-related tasks assigned by management.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any related course.
With at least 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or technical buying.
Experience in construction, engineering, industrial, or trading industry is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in procurement processes, supplier coordination, and documentation.
Able to understand technical specifications, brochures, and data sheets.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word.
Good communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle multiple tasks.
Can work under pressure and meet deadlines.
