Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to bridge business and engineering teams in a modern Agile environment. The role emphasizes end-to-end requirements management, user storytelling, and effective delivery execution across software initiatives.

The successful candidate will work with Product Owners, Developers, QA, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, define acceptance criteria, support testing, and facilitate software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Proven experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• English proficiency level C1 or higher is required.
• Experience writing detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical documentation.

Everforth Apex Systems Mexico is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery of digital product initiatives within a modern Agile software development environment. This role requires a highly technical Business Analyst who can effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams while driving end-to-end requirements management and delivery execution.

The successful candidate will work closely with Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, create user stories, define acceptance criteria, support testing activities, and facilitate successful software releases. This role requires strong experience working alongside engineering teams, a solid understanding of software development concepts, and advanced expertise in Jira and Agile delivery practicess.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Lead requirements elicitation workshops and discovery sessions.
• Translate business needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional documentation.
• Evaluate and communicate system requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct gap analyses and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and release activities.
• Manage and maintain Jira epics, stories, tasks, defects, workflows, dashboards, and reporting.
• Ensure requirements are well understood and actionable for development teams.
• Support backlog prioritization and requirements traceability.
• Drive alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
• Collaborate directly with software engineers to define and refine technical requirements.
• Analyze UI workflows, integrations, APIs, and system interactions.
• Support technical solution discussions and documentation efforts.
• Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams throughout delivery cycles.
• Assist with production support activities, issue investigation, and defect analysis.
• Support QA and testing efforts by defining test scenarios and validating requirements.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
• Ensure traceability between business requirements, testing activities, and delivered functionality.
• Review test results and validate requirements coverage.
• Contribute to release readiness and deployment activities.
• Create and maintain business requirements documents, technical specifications, process documentation, and release notes.
• Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and requirements changes to stakeholders.
• Facilitate effective collaboration across business, product, engineering, and QA teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting software development initiatives.
