Qualifications

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with deep expertise in .NET development, Azure cloud technologies, and Azure Integration Services to join a growing engineering team focused on modernizing enterprise applications and integrations.

This role is highly hands-on and will play a critical part in designing, developing, and supporting cloud-native applications, APIs, distributed systems, and integration solutions within a Microsoft-centric ecosystem. A key initiative involves migrating and modernizing existing integrations into Azure-native services while leveraging modern AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery, code modernization, testing, and engineering productivity.

The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering fundamentals, Azure integration expertise, and experience utilizing AI-powered development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar agentic engineering solutions.

Responsibilities

Software Development & Architecture

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable .NET applications and cloud-native services.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices architectures.
• Develop secure, maintainable, and high-performing distributed systems.
• Refactor and optimize existing solutions to improve scalability, reliability, and performance.

Azure Integration & Cloud Solutions

• Design and implement enterprise integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
• Develop integrations utilizing:
• Logic Apps
• Event Grid
• API Management (APIM)
• Design API routing, mapping, transformation, and integration patterns.
• Contribute to cloud modernization initiatives and integration platform strategy.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, or similar AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity.
• Apply AI-driven approaches for:
• Code modernization
• Automated testing
• Integration migration analysis
• Evaluate and promote modern agentic development practices and engineering automation opportunities.

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Product, QA, Architecture, and Engineering teams.
• Participate in technical design discussions and architectural decision-making.
• Conduct peer code reviews and mentor other developers.
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and estimation activities.
• Contribute to engineering standards, SDLC improvements, and best practices.

Reliability, Security & Operations

• Implement logging, telemetry, monitoring, and observability solutions.
• Support troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents.
• Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and data protection standards.
• Advocate for non-functional requirements including security, scalability, maintainability, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience developing web-based applications and SaaS platforms using Microsoft technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience with: C#, .NET Core / .NET, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, Distributed systems.
• Strong experience building Azure-based integration solutions using Azure Integration Services.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise APIs and integration architectures.
• Experience with API lifecycle management, message transformation, and integration design patterns.
• Experience building microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud security, authentication, authorization, and secure integration principles.
• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, Cody, or comparable solutions.
• Demonstrated use of AI tools for development acceleration, code modernization, testing, automation, or technical documentation.
• Experience working within Agile delivery environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• English proficiency level C1 or higher is a requirement.
