Job summary

RCBC in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst/Business Analyst to join the IT division. You will lead system analysis, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications for banking applications, with emphasis on Finacle.

The role requires 8+ years in application development (banking/financial services), 5+ years in analyst roles, and strong governance and deployment practices to ensure compliant, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in application development, banking/financial services preferred.
• At least 5 years as Systems Analyst or Business Analyst.
• Experience with Finacle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems analysis, architecture design, and feasibility studies for large-scale applications.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and provide guidance to internal and external developers.
• Identify system enhancements, optimize performance, and plan capacity for supported applications.
• Formulate test plans and QA testing to ensure system accuracy, reliability, and security.
• Oversee deployment, installation, and release reviews ensuring compliance with banking standards and regulations.
• Maintain updated system and operations documentation.
• Provide post-implementation production support and training to IT personnel and end-users.
• Deliver regular progress reports and project updates to Project Managers.

How will you contribute?

• System Analysis & Design: Lead systems analysis, architecture design, and feasibility studies for large-scale applications and core business domain platforms.
• Requirements & Technical Leadership: Translate business requirements into technical and functional specifications, providing technical guidance to internal and external developers.
• Solution Architecture & Improvements: Proactively identify system enhancements, optimize performance, and conduct capacity planning for supported applications.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Formulate test plans, define edge cases, and execute QA testing to ensure system accuracy, reliability, and security.
• Deployment & Governance: Oversee application installation and release reviews, ensuring compliance with banking standards, local regulations (such as BSP/MORB), and MTPP/MLPP policies.
• Documentation & Operations: Maintain updated system and operations documentation in accordance with corporate standards.
• Production Support & Training: Provide post-implementation support, resolve production incidents, respond to technical inquiries, and deliver training to IT personnel and end-users.
• Project Reporting: Deliver regular progress reports, estimations, and project updates to Project Managers.

What will make you successful?

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 8+ years in application development (preferably within banking/financial services), with at least 5 years as a Systems Analyst or Business Analyst. Preferrably, a candidate with experience with Finacle.
• Technical & Domain Expertise: Expert knowledge of systems analysis and design, including advanced proficiency in bank-specific software development methodologies.
• Management & Governance: Strong skills in project management and vendor management.
