Job summary

Northern Trust Corp in Manila is seeking a senior leader to drive NAV production and hedge fund accounting. You will lead and mentor a team, ensuring high‑quality performance, timely delivery, and strong client relationships.

You will interact with senior management, develop KPIs, and oversee end‑to‑end financial reporting while applying IFRS/US GAAP standards and ensuring process documentation is up to date.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in hedge fund accounting, fund administration or financial operations.
• Leadership experience: 1–2+ years as a team lead, SME, or acting lead.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong understanding of hedge funds structures, NAV calculation, capital activities and financial preparations.
• Experience managing teams and client relationships.
• Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Conducts performance management and career development processes, provides input for staffing and disciplinary actions and provides hands‑on training to staff
• Develops periodic goals, organizes the work, sets short‑term priorities, monitors all activities, and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work
• Carries out activities that are medium‑to‑large in scope, cross‑functional and technically difficult
• Spearhead the development, implementation and administration of programs within functional areas
• Carries out complex activities with significant financial, client, and/or internal business impact
• Have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior Management
• Manage daily operational activities and supervise day‑to‑day work and to act as a mentor to other junior level employees
• Responsible for maintaining the team’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as per the agreed Service Level Documents (SLD).
• Able to facilitate discussions and reach decisions
• Create, maintain and update procedural/process documents
• Manage and oversee the end‑to‑end NAV production and financial statement preparation for hedge fund clients.
