Mober Technology Pte Inc. in the Philippines is seeking a meticulous Tax Specialist to ensure timely filing and payment of all tax returns with the BIR and LGUs.
You will act as the primary liaison for all tax correspondence, coordinate audits, and monitor cases at administrative and judicial levels. Additionally, you’ll prepare journal entries, financial statements, and tax provisions, supporting strong governance across the accounting function.
Prepare, review, and ensure timely filing and payment of all tax returns and reports with the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs).
Handle BIR and LGU audits, including preparation of replies to assessments, letters, and notices, and coordination with tax authorities for submission of requirements and audit completion.
Act as the primary point of contact for all tax-related correspondence with BIR and LGUs.
Monitor the status of all tax cases at administrative and judicial levels in coordination with internal and external legal counsel.
Initiate and process tax refund applications, ensure completion of requirements, and monitor progress.
Handle tax-related queries from other departments and conduct tax research as needed.
Assist in the formulation, documentation, and implementation of tax policies, procedures, and manuals.
Prepare and post journal entries, upload entries to the accounting system, print journal vouchers, and attach supporting documents.
Analyze financial data and prepare monthly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and other management reports.
Prepare monthly income tax computations and support annual tax provisions.
Maintain account schedules, perform account analyses, and ensure accuracy of general ledger balances.
Prepare bank reconciliations and reconcile inter-company accounts of the Company and its subsidiaries.
Perform initial review of draft audited financial statements prepared by external auditors and provide comments and explanations on notes and disclosures.
Ensure proper documentation, filing, and record management in compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.
