Job description
Prepare, review, and file timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (Income Tax, VAT, EWT, Compensation, Final Tax)
Ensure full tax compliance for individuals, corporations, and partnerships under BIR regulations
Lead strategic planning for tax processes and ensure alignment with current BIR rules
Monitor, interpret, and implement changes in tax laws, Revenue Memorandum Circulars, and the National Internal Revenue Code
Collaborate with the Accounting Head on audits, tax assessments, and special tax projects
Manage BIR audits, prepare documentation for LOAs, and represent the company in assessments
Ensure year-end compliance including Books of Accounts, BIR Form 2316, and Annual Income Tax Returns
Provide tax planning and advisory to reduce liabilities while ensuring compliance
Maintain organized and confidential tax records and supporting documents
Liaise with BIR and other government agencies as needed
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field
CPA license preferred but not required
