Job summary

Zamboanga Nickel Corporation is seeking a diligent tax and compliance professional for on-site work in Makati. The role covers preparation and review of working papers for withholding taxes, income tax, VAT and excise tax, as well as journal entries for FS notes and tax-related permits.

You will monitor payroll items and assist in BIR policy development. Ideal candidates include BS Accountancy graduates with related experience; CPA preferred and trustworthy individuals who can handle regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BS Accountancy) graduate.
• Related work experience is a plus.
• Preference for CPA designation.
• Trustworthy and dependable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare/Review Working papers for Withholding Taxes (Expanded, Compensation, Final) including attachments (Alphalist of Payees, Alphalist of Employees).
• Prepare/Review Working papers for Income Tax.
• Prepare/Review Working papers for Value Added Tax including Summary List of Sales and Purchases.
• Prepare/Review Working papers for Excise Tax.
• Prepare/Review Journal for Financial Statements and Notes to FS including tie out of balances.
• Prepare Application for Permit for Excise Tax Purposes.
• Review ETRD, ORB, Weekly Removal Report.
• Review BIR Forms 2307.
• Monitor Payroll file (updates especially non-taxable items per BIR).
• Research any BIR related questions.
• Assist in creating policies and tax planning for BIR Compliances.
