Job summary

J&T Express Philippines is seeking a Tax specialist to oversee regional finance and tax processes, ensuring BIR compliance and guiding internal teams on best practices. You will monitor regional activities, review documents, and support audits across tax types.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in tax within large organizations, preferably in logistics or express delivery, with strong communication and organizational skills to drive accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• At least three (3) years of relevant tax experience.
• Strong background in tax compliance, tax declaration, and tax risk management.
• Experience in large organizations, preferably in logistics/express delivery.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance of regional offices with day-to-day finance and tax-related processes.
• Review and validate supporting documents for BIR compliance.
• Assist in preparation and submission of letters and reports to the BIR.
• Support in tax audits and liaison with LGUs and HQ for requirements.
• Prepare, review, and assist in tax declarations and ensure compliance across tax types.
• Provide guidance on taxation and regulatory requirements to internal stakeholders.
• Perform other tax-related and finance-related duties as assigned.
