Qualifikationen

• Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• CPA certification is highly desirable.
• If CPA – with at least 2 years or more experience in accounting.
• If not CPA - with at least 4 years or more experience in accounting.
• Experience in fixed asset accounting is optional but highly desirable.
• Exposure to month-end and year-end closing procedures, general ledger reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience preparing or analyzing P&L statements and performing variance analysis.
• Familiarity with Philippine tax compliance and statutory reporting is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of key general ledger and sub-ledger reconciliations, ensuring discrepancies are resolved promptly.
• Prepare analytical reviews and reports explaining variances and financial performance for management.
• Own the end-to-end fixed asset accounting cycle: recognition, depreciation, impairment, disposals, and transfers.
• Maintain fixed asset register and perform periodic verification and reconciliation to GL.
• Review capital expenditure requests and classify as assets or expenses; journal entries as needed.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end closing: journal entries and schedules within deadlines.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures; support external auditors.
• Develop and improve documentation, checklists, and processes to strengthen closing efficiency.
