Job summary

Claritas is seeking an Accounting Associate - Tax and Compliance to support tax return preparation, regulatory filings, and compliance management. This role coordinates with BIR, SEC, and LGUs to ensure timely and accurate submissions while maintaining meticulous records.

The ideal candidate holds a related accounting degree and has up to 1 year of experience, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Collaboration with clients is key.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of accounting or regulatory compliance experience.
• Basic knowledge of BIR tax filings and Philippine tax rules.
• Familiarity with SEC filings and local permits is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns with BIR.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
• Prepare regulatory filings with BIR, SEC, and LGUs.
• Maintain tax records and compliance files.
• Coordinate with clients and agencies on filings.
• Review documents for completeness.
• Provide administrative and accounting support for tax/compliance.
