Job summary

Claritas is an evolving professional services firm in Southeast Asia seeking an Accounting Associate – Tax and Compliance to assist with tax return preparation, regulatory filings, and document submission. You will coordinate with government agencies, maintain precise records, and ensure timely, accurate compliance for clients.

The role requires a related degree and 6–12 months of accounting or tax experience, plus strong Excel skills and attention to detail for reliable, on-time deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
• 6 months to 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
• Knowledge of Philippine tax filings (BIR) and compliance.
• Familiarity with SEC filings and LGU registrations.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Willingness to coordinate with clients and government agencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and filing tax returns and related documents with BIR.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission and payments.
• Assist in regulatory filings, registrations, and renewals with BIR, SEC, and LGUs.
• Maintain and organize tax records and regulatory files.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with clients and government agencies on filings and documentation.
• Review supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide administrative and accounting support related to tax and compliance.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
