Job summary

Executive Optical, Inc. is seeking an Accounting Specialist in the Tax and Compliance section to handle applications, registrations, and submissions for branch e-sales accounts systems.

You will file national tax returns, prepare BIR attachments, oversee intercompany invoicing for VAT, assist during audits, and monitor tax regulations to keep operations compliant in Timog Quezon City. This role offers opportunities for professional growth and close collaboration with Legal and Finance teams.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of BS in Accountancy or Accounting Major Courses.
• Proficient in using BIR eFPS, eBIRForms, eSales, and Alphalist Data Entry applications
• Strong knowledge of the National Internal Revenue Code (NIRC), BIR rules, and recent tax updates
• Strong communication skills for cross-departmental coordination (Legal, Finance, External Auditors)
• With at least 1-2 years of experience in the field
• Familiar with the computerized accounting system
• Work location: Timog Quezon City
• Willing to start ASAP

Responsibilities

• Prepare, calculate, and file all periodic national tax returns accurately and on time via eFPS /eBIRForms: Income Tax, VAT, Withholding Taxes, Other statutory and local tax filings upon business request
• Compile, reconcile, and submit required BIR tax attachments and statutory reports within set deadlines: SLS/SLP/QAP/SAWT/Annual Inventory Lists/Employee Alpha lists and other regulatory schedules
• Oversee the timely issuance of Sales Invoices for intercompany transactions and cross-charging to ensure proper revenue recognition and VAT treatment
• Generate, verify, print, and distribute BIR Form 2307 (Certificate of Creditable Tax Withheld at Source) within statutory timelines
• Partner with the Legal Department and internal teams to perform tax reconciliations and gather supporting documentation during BIR Tax Audits / Letter of Authority (LOA) investigations
• Assist external financial auditors during year-end audits by providing schedules, tax provisioning calculations, and required disclosures for the Annual Audited Financial Statements (AFS)
• Monitor updates to Philippine tax regulations, including BIR Revenue Regulations (RR) and Revenue Memorandum Circulars (RMC), providing internal guidance to keep business operations compliant
