Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Tax Accountant or similar role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage tax audits, assessments, and investigations conducted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
• Prepare and review responses to LOA, NOD, PAN and FAN/FLD.
• Coordinate with external auditors, legal counsel, and consultants.
• Identify tax savings opportunities within legal parameters.
• Provide tax advisory support to management on business transactions.
• Ensure proper documentation and substantiation of tax deductions.
• Assist in tax risk assessments and internal control improvements.
• Review tax provisions and deferred tax computations.
• Reconcile tax-related accounts.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in financial statement audit requirements.
