MedGrocer is seeking an Accountant to support compliance, accounting, and tax, ensuring full regulatory adherence and accurate general ledger management. The role focuses on maintaining records, coordinating BIR filings, and implementing controls to support growth across divisions.

You'll join a digitally-enabled healthcare platform, collaborate with internal teams and external auditors, and help refine accounting processes while supporting timely monthly closings and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field.
• CPA license.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR rulings.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and financial software.
• Ability to work onsite in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations, including filing and payment of returns.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and perform month-end closings.
• Coordinate with internal teams, auditors, and government agencies for compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist in refining internal accounting systems and expenditure controls to optimize workflows.
