Job summary

MedGrocer is seeking a Finance Controller (CPA) to lead the daily operations of the Finance team, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide financial guidance to senior management. The role focuses on cost-efficient decision-making and strategic financial analysis in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

You will oversee accounts payable/receivable, analyze unit performance, and drive tax compliance and control improvements while coordinating audits and financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification required.
• 2–3 years in a finance-related role with supervisory experience.
• Strong tax compliance, financial reporting, and team management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Finance team activities to ensure accurate execution of accounts payable and receivable.
• Analyze monthly financial statements of business units to provide insights into departmental performance.
• Guarantee compliance with BIR rulings by overseeing the preparation and timely filing of all tax requirements.
• Lead the implementation of SOPs to improve financial controls and team efficiency.
• Coordinate internal and external audit requirements to ensure records are compliant and audit-ready.
