MedGrocer in Manila seeks an Accountant to support compliance, accounting, and tax, ensuring accurate general ledger management and timely BIR filings. You will coordinate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure statutory compliance while implementing controls to support growth across divisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA license required.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR rulings, and GAAP.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and financial software.
• Onsite work in Makati City.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee compliance with Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations, including timely preparation, filing, and payment of all monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records, perform routine bank and account reconciliations, and execute month-end financial closing procedures.
• Coordinate with internal business units, external auditors, and government agencies to ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness.
• Assist in developing and refining internal accounting systems, expenditure controls, and financial policies to eliminate leakages and optimize operational workflows.

The Accountant for compliance, accounting, and tax directly supports daily finance operations, ensuring full compliance with tax laws, statutory reporting, and accurate general ledger management. Minimum Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
