MedGrocer is seeking an Accountant to support compliance, accounting, and tax, ensuring full regulatory adherence and accurate general ledger management. The role focuses on maintaining records, coordinating BIR filings, and implementing controls to support growth across divisions.

The Accountant for compliance, accounting, and tax directly supports daily finance operations, ensuring full compliance with tax laws, statutory reporting, and accurate general ledger management. In this role, you will maintain financial records, coordinate BIR filings, and implement accounting controls to support MedGrocer's continued growth across all operational divisions.

Guarantee compliance with Philippine tax laws and BIR regulations, including the timely preparation, filing, and payment of all monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns.
Maintain accurate general ledger records, perform routine bank and account reconciliations, and execute month-end financial closing procedures.
Coordinate with internal business units, external auditors, and government agencies to ensure statutory compliance and audit readiness.
Assist in developing and refining internal accounting systems, expenditure controls, and financial policies to eliminate leakages and optimize operational workflows.
Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Strong working knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR rulings, and standard accounting principles.
Proficiency in Google Workspace applications and financial software.
Ability to work onsite in Makati City.
