AP Cargo Logistic Network, Corporation is seeking an experienced Accountant for on-site work in Pasay. The role focuses on preparing and consolidating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and tax reports, ensuring VAT and BIR compliance, and coordinating with sales and payables to ensure accurate records.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field, with 3–5 years in financial reporting and tax duties; CPA is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
• 3–5 years in financial reporting, accounting, and tax compliance; supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BIR tax compliance, VAT, and withholding taxes.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems; strong reconciliation and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to coordinate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and tax reports, including VAT and 1702Q/1702A.
• Ensure accuracy of tax filings, Trial Balance, and Book of Accounts per BIR regulations.
• Review adjusting entries, vouchers, A/P, and invoices for proper recording.
• Coordinate with Sales, Payables, and other departments for revenue/expense reconciliation.
• Monitor tax-related transactions and assets while supporting audits.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and tax reports, including BIR requirements such as VAT, Expanded Withholding Tax, and 1702Q/1702A.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of tax filings, accounting records, Trial Balance, and Book of Accounts in compliance with BIR regulations.
• Review adjusting entries, journal vouchers, accounts payable, sales invoices, and other accounting documents for proper recording and accuracy.
• Coordinate with Sales, Payable, and other departments for the reconciliation of revenues, expenses, and supporting documents to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Monitor tax-related transactions, fixed assets, prepayments, and other accounting activities while supporting audits and providing timely financial reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is an advantage.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, general accounting, and tax compliance; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of BIR tax compliance, VAT, withholding taxes, and financial reporting requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems, with strong skills in reconciliation, analysis, and preparation of financial reports.
• Detail-oriented, organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple deadlines while coordinating effectively with different departments.
