Job summary

Eton Properties Philippines Inc. is seeking a Tax Associate to join our finance team in Metro Manila. You will prepare and file tax returns, ensure compliance with BIR requirements, and support audits while maintaining organized records.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Accountancy, experience in tax compliance, and knowledge of Philippine tax laws; familiarity with SAP is preferred. Real estate taxation background is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
• Experience in tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Background in real estate taxation is a plus
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR issuances
• Familiarity with accounting systems (SAP preferred)

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, BIR forms)
• Ensure timely compliance with BIR and regulatory requirements
• Monitor tax deadlines and compute tax liabilities
• Prepare tax schedules, analyses, and supporting documents
• Handle submission and processing of BIR documents
• Assist in local tax compliance including Business Permits and RPT
• Support audits and prepare tax reports and schedules
• Maintain organized tax records and related tasks (TIN verification, tax clearances, fieldwork)

What You'll Do

As the Tax Associate, you will:

• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, EWT, Income Tax, BIR Form 1606, etc.)
• Ensure timely compliance with BIR and other regulatory requirements
• Monitor tax deadlines and compute accurate tax liabilities
• Prepare tax schedules, analyses, and supporting documents
• Handle submission and processing of BIR-related documents
• Assist in local tax compliance, including Business Permits and Real Property Tax (RPT)
• Support audits and prepare required tax reports and schedules
• Maintain organized tax records and perform related tasks (TIN verification, tax clearances, fieldwork)

What You'll Bring

To thrive in this role, you'll bring the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or related course
• With experience in tax compliance and regulatory reporting
• Background in real estate taxation is an advantage
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and BIR issuances
• Familiarity with SAP or other accounting systems is preferred
• Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Highly detail-oriented, dependable, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
