Job summary

Ibex Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Tier 3 Systems Engineer to join our MSP partner's technical team in the Philippines. You will design, deploy, and support Microsoft Azure infrastructure end-to-end, serving as the highest escalation point for complex environments across multiple clients.

The role requires hands-on MSP experience, expertise in Azure IaaS, AVD, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Server administration, with focus on security, backups, and migration activities.

Qualifications

• Previous MSP experience is required.
• Azure IaaS: Building Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Site-to-Site VPNs from scratch.
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Deploying host pools, golden images, and FSLogix profile issues troubleshooting.
• Azure Files / cloud file services.
• Microsoft Entra ID: Hybrid identity and Conditional Access policy design and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Intune: Device management, compliance policies, and endpoint administration.
• Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, on-prem and in Azure.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for complex infrastructure, cloud, and networking issues.
• Design, deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Microsoft Azure environments, including Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure Files.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, and Windows Server environments.
• Configure and support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, virtualization platforms, and core networking.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, workstations, VPNs, networking equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, Microsoft 365 and server migrations, and client onboarding projects.
• Monitor system health, backups, patching, and security while proactively identifying and resolving issues.
• Collaborate with Tier 1 and Tier 2 engineers by providing technical guidance and escalation support.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and deliver excellent customer service across multiple client environments.

We're looking for an experienced Tier 3 Systems Engineer to join the growing team of one of our Managed Service Provider (MSP) partners. This is a highly technical role supporting multiple client environments, so previous MSP experience is required.

The ideal candidate has proven, hands‑on experience designing, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure from the ground up—not just maintaining environments built by others. You'll serve as the highest level of technical escalation while supporting infrastructure, cloud, and Microsoft environments for a diverse client base.

What You'll Do

Required Experience

Candidates must have demonstrated, hands‑on experience in the following areas.

• Previous MSP experience is required.
• Azure IaaS: Building Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks, Subnets, Network Security Groups (NSGs), and Site-to-Site VPNs from scratch.
• Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD): Deploying host pools, golden images, and troubleshooting FSLogix profile issues (including temporary profiles and black‑screen scenarios).
• Azure Files / cloud file services.
• Microsoft Entra ID: Hybrid identity and Conditional Access policy design and troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Intune: Device management, compliance policies, and endpoint administration.
• Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, both on‑premises and in Azure.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with the following is a plus but not required—we're happy to provide training.
