Job summary

Xurpas, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst in the Philippines to gather requirements, analyze existing code and documentation, and translate them into a System Requirement Specification (SRS). You will work with developers and stakeholders to ensure alignment on requirements, design, and test strategies.

You will write and execute Test Suites, perform SIT, and support UAT to validate system functionality, logging defects and providing clear, structured findings for project teams.

Qualifications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and client management abilities.
Ability to analyze system behavior and document it in a structured format.
Experience in creating SRS and Test Suites.
Knowledge of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Basic understanding of Java is a plus for analyzing system logic.

Responsibilities

Analyze the current system behavior and workflows.
Document findings in a System Requirement Specification (SRS).
Conduct workshops with clients to ensure alignment.
Develop a Test Suite to validate the system per the SRS.
Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and document SIT results.
Log defects and coordinate with developers for resolution.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and address user concerns.
