Job summary

Xurpas Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst who will analyze existing systems, code, and documentation to translate findings into clear System Requirements Specifications (SRS). You will collaborate with developers, clients and stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and validated.

You will create test suites, design SIT and support UAT, and assist in defect investigation and resolution, bridging business and technical teams with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in Business Analysis or related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience analyzing existing systems, application behavior, or technical documentation.
• Experience creating System Requirements Specifications (SRS).
• Experience creating Test Suites, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Hands-on experience with SIT and UAT.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with defect tracking and issue resolution processes.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze existing system behavior, code, and documentation to understand functionalities, workflows, and business processes
• Gather and validate system requirements from stakeholders and existing system documentation
• Document findings and requirements in a comprehensive System Requirements Specification (SRS)
• Conduct workshops and discussions with clients and stakeholders to clarify requirements
• Identify gaps between existing system behavior and business requirements
• Translate technical findings into clear and understandable documentation for business stakeholders
• Develop detailed Test Suites based on documented requirements and expected system behavior
• Create test scenarios and test cases covering functional and integration requirements
• Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) to validate system functionality and integrations
• Analyze test results and investigate system defects and unexpected behavior
