Job summary

MicroSourcing in Ortigas, Pasig is seeking a Sr. Systems Administrator to manage enterprise IT infrastructure, ensure secure and efficient daily operations, and lead system upgrades.

The role requires strong Microsoft 365 and Azure experience, plus hands-on work with Windows Server, networking, and hybrid cloud environments (AWS or Google Cloud). You will mentor junior IT staff and collaborate with internal teams to optimize IT solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of enterprise IT experience with senior/lead responsibility.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure experience; exposure to AWS or other cloud.
• Proficient Windows Server administration.
• Solid enterprise networking: firewalls, routing, switching, wireless.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure for day-to-day operations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments; support cloud migrations.
• Maintain Windows Server environments, configurations, patching, monitoring.
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure (firewalls, routing, switching).
• Administer cloud infrastructure in a hybrid setup and lead upgrades.
• Oversee onboarding/offboarding and access control; monitor and resolve issues.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior IT staff.

Your Role

As a Sr. Systems Administrator, you will:

• Manage and maintain enterprise IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, with working knowledge of AWS or other major cloud platforms.
• Manage and maintain Windows Server environments, including system configurations, patching, monitoring, and support.
• Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless technologies.
• Administer cloud infrastructure in a hybrid cloud environment and support cloud migration and modernisation initiatives.
• Manage user access, devices, system configurations, onboarding, and offboarding processes.
• Monitor infrastructure, resolve technical issues, and minimise service disruptions.
• Lead system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
• Implement and maintain IT security controls, including access management, MFA, VPN, monitoring, and vulnerability response.
• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior IT staff.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver and optimise IT solutions.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, with demonstrated senior or lead responsibility in an enterprise environment.
• Strong Microsoft 365 and Azure experience, with working knowledge of AWS or another major cloud provider.
• Demonstrated experience with Windows Server administration.
• Proven experience with enterprise networking, including firewalls, routing, switching, and wireless configuration.
• Hands-on experience administering AWS, Google Cloud, or another major cloud provider in a hybrid cloud environment.
• Degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Microsoft certifications, particularly Azure or Microsoft 365.
• Experience with SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Experience with IT security tools and industry best practices.
• Experience deploying and maintaining software in an enterprise environment.
• Experience supporting, training, and mentoring junior IT team members.
• Experience working in a professional services firm or with an Australian-based organisation.
• Strong security-focused mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.
