Job summary

Vestas is seeking a Systems Developer for its Industrial Technology Platform in Manila. The role focuses on building and maturing scalable software across frontend and backend stacks using Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, FastAPI, and related technologies.

You will work with architects and developers to ensure alignment with standards, while enhancing our platform with modern testing, CI/CD, and robust engineering practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Software Development, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• 5–7 years of experience in software development.
• Experience as a full‑stack developer.
• Experience as a frontend or backend developer combined with network engineering skills.
• Practical experience with Vue.js, Python, TypeScript, and FastAPI.
• Experience with modern software development practices, including version control, testing, and agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop the next‑generation platform (Frontend: Vue.js, TypeScript, and Python; Backend: FastAPI, Kafka, ClickHouse, and related technologies).
• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable, and secure applications and services.
• Improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD practices, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Support the existing platform (Backend: Laravel, PHP, Gearman, Redis, MariaDB, and related technologies) by maintaining, troubleshooting, and selectively enhancing.
• Collaborate closely with architects and fellow developers to ensure technical solutions align with architectural standards and business requirements.

As a Systems Developer in Industrial Technology Platform, you will bring your skills in software development and application design into play through technical design, implementation of new capabilities, and the ongoing maturing and maintenance of existing platforms and services. You will work closely with architects, developers, and stakeholders to deliver high‑quality software solutions that support the organization's digital transformation and operational excellence.
