Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a BlackLine Functional & Technical Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize an enterprise financial reconciliation platform in a complex ERP environment.

The role coordinates across finance, business, ERP, and technology teams, driving enhancements, testing, and operational support to ensure solution integrity and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the reconciliation platform.
• Plan and coordinate business and system changes impacting reconciliation processes.
• Configure and implement solution updates to meet changing requirements.
• Collaborate across stakeholders, ERP teams, platform support, vendors, and tech resources.
• Coordinate technical setup for new functionality, integrations, and process improvements.
• Support architecture reviews, change management, and governance processes.
• Design, execute, and coordinate testing including integration validation and UAT.
• Analyze and troubleshoot reconciliations, integrations, and system functionality.
• Validate APIs, data flows, and target-system integrations for integrity.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge resources for continuity.
• Partner with software vendors to deliver enhancements, upgrades, releases.
• Provide production support and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Serve as SME for the reconciliation platform and related business processes.

Job description

We are seeking a BlackLine Functional & Technical Analyst to support, enhance, and optimize an enterprise financial reconciliation platform. This role serves as a key liaison between finance, business, ERP, platform support, and technology teams to ensure the solution continues to meet evolving business requirements.

The ideal candidate will coordinate system enhancements, support release activities, facilitate testing and integration validation, and help drive continuous improvement initiatives. This individual will develop deep expertise in the reconciliation solution and serve as a trusted resource for future enhancements, implementations, and operational support activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the ongoing administration, maintenance, and enhancement of the financial reconciliation platform.
• Plan and coordinate business and system changes that impact reconciliation processes and supporting applications.
• Configure and implement solution updates to meet changing business and operational requirements.
• Facilitate collaboration across business stakeholders, ERP teams, platform support teams, vendors, and other technical resources.
• Coordinate technical setup activities required to support new functionality, integrations, and process improvements.
• Support architecture reviews, change management activities, and governance approval processes.
• Design, execute, and coordinate testing activities, including integration validation, user acceptance testing, and deployment readiness.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to reconciliations, integrations, and system functionality.
• Validate APIs, data flows, and target-system integrations to ensure solution integrity.
• Maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and process materials to support operational excellence and team continuity.
• Partner with software vendors and support teams to deliver enhancements, upgrades, releases, and other approved initiatives.
• Provide production support and participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve reconciliation processes and user experience.
• Act as a subject matter resource for the reconciliation platform and related business processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience coordinating application changes across multiple technical and business teams within a complex ERP environment.
• Ability to plan and execute timelines for business and system changes – enhancements and configurations.
• Understanding of ERP systems, APIs, integrations, testing, and target-system validation.
• Ability to facilitate architecture reviews and change-approval activities.
• Strong communication, coordination, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to support recurring Digital Core releases and Acquisition and Divestiture activities.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to design test scenarios and support technical testing activities.
• Experience coordinating with software vendors and third-party service providers.
• Ability to learn the BlackLine ReconRevamp solution and become a technical resource for future enhancements.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other MSP contractors and provide backup coverage when required.
• Experience with financial reconciliation solutions such as BlackLine or similar finance automation platforms.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting BlackLine Reconciliations or similar financial close and account reconciliation solutions.
• Experience working with enterprise ERP environments such as SAP.
• Understanding of financial close, reconciliation, and finance operations processes.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades, releases, or transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with integration technologies, APIs, and downstream system connectivity.
