Job summary

Aboitiz Foods is seeking a Farm Supervisor to oversee daily operations of the Breeding & Gestation unit, ensuring the health and welfare of the swine herd while guiding farm staff and implementing SOPs. You will monitor heat detection, AI, gestation, record keeping, biosecurity, and welfare compliance, coordinate with teams, and help manage budget and production targets to support Asia's growing demand.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Animal Science, Animal Husbandry or Veterinary Medicine.
• Preferably 3 years work experience in a 500-sow level swine operation preferably as a supervisor in Breeding and Gestation unit.
• Hard Skills: Working knowledge in swine breeding, heat detection, artificial insemination, boar semen evaluation and processing and gestation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Oversee breeding and gestation unit operations and staff.
• Monitor heat detection, AI, and gestation processes.
• Maintain breeding and gestation records and reports.
• Ensure biosecurity and welfare standards.
• Coordinate with swine sales for hog classification and sales.
• Prepare budgets and unit costs within limits.
