Job summary

Avon is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist to ensure product availability across the supply chain. You will work with Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Distribution, Commercial Planning and Marketing to balance demand, inventory, service levels and costs.

You’ll develop supply plans, respond to changing trends, and drive smooth product flow while maintaining optimal stock. This role emphasizes analytical thinking and collaboration with diverse teams globally.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, SCM or related field.
• At least 3 years in a supply chain environment such as planning or procurement.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop finished goods supply plans to hit service, inventory and cost targets.
• Create mid- to long-term production and capacity plans, including contract manufacturing support.
• Collaborate with planning, procurement, manufacturing, quality and distribution teams.
• Run order simulations and evaluate supply scenarios with changing demand trends.
• Analyze inventory performance and supply risks to guide decisions.
• Maintain planning system accuracy and support continuous improvement projects.
• Work with Marketing to manage inventory risks and lifecycle planning.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Supply Planning Specialist, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Avon products are available when and where they’re needed. Working closely with teams across Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, Quality, Distribution, Commercial Planning & Marketing, you’ll help balance customer demand, inventory, service levels, and cost objectives. You’ll support business growth by developing supply plans, responding to changing demand trends, and ensuring the smooth flow of products through the supply chain while maintaining optimal inventory. This is a highly collaborative role where your analytical thinking and problem-solving skills will help deliver an outstanding experience for Avon Representatives and customers.

Key responsibilities:

• Developing and managing finished goods supply plans to achieve service, inventory, and cost targets.
• Creating mid- to long-term production and capacity plans, including support for contract manufacturing where applicable.
• Partnering with Materials Planning, Export Planning, Production, and Distribution teams to ensure product availability and on-time delivery.
• Running order simulations and evaluating supply scenarios based on changing demand patterns and market trends.
• Analyzing inventory performance, product supportability, and supply chain trends to support business decisions.
• Identifying supply risks, capacity constraints, and inventory challenges, and escalating issues when needed.
• Maintaining planning system accuracy and supporting continuous improvement and supply chain projects.
• Collaborating with Marketing teams to manage inventory risks and support product lifecycle planning.

What we’re looking for

• Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a supply chain environment, such as Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Inventory Planning, Production Planning, Logistics, Sourcing, or Warehouse Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and cultures.
• Knowledge of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
• Familiarity with new product development and risk assessment processes is an advantage.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications.
• A proactive, adaptable mindset and a passion for driving operational excellence.
