Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking an execution-driven Supply Chain Manager (Operations) to own warehouse throughput, floor operations, and local fulfillment across the Philippines. The role emphasizes FEFO accuracy, zero bottlenecks, and alignment with Modern and Traditional Trade accounts.

You will lead floor execution, inventory control, and domestic dispatch while ensuring safety, 5S/Lean standards, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics, with 2–3 years in leadership within FMCG/CPG.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems; strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day warehouse operations including offloading from port containers, bin putaway, order picking, staging, and truck loading.
• Optimize warehouse floor plans, racking layout, and slotting strategies to maximize cubic storage capacity and speed up order processing time.
• Manage daily utilization of warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks) and oversee maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.
• Drive continuous workplace safety and operational standards (5S, Lean, Good Warehousing Practices) in compliance with DOLE-OSHC regulations.
• Oversee daily staging and dispatch schedules for domestic orders headed to Modern Trade and Traditional Trade distributors, tracking SLAs.

Job Overview

We are looking for an execution-driven Supply Chain Manager (Operations) to take full ownership of our physical warehouse throughput, floor operations, and local fulfillment network across the Philippines.

Your primary focus is ensuring that once goods land at our facilities, they are received, stored, picked, and dispatched with high efficiency, strict FEFO accuracy, and zero operational bottlenecks to serve both Modern and Traditional Trade clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. Facility Operations & Floor Execution

• Direct day-to-day warehouse operations, including offloading from port containers, bin putaway, order picking, staging, and truck loading.




• Optimize warehouse floor plans, racking layout, and slotting strategies to maximize cubic storage capacity and speed up order processing time.




• Manage daily utilization of warehouse equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks) and oversee maintenance schedules to prevent downtime.




• Drive continuous workplace safety and operational standards (5S, Lean, Good Warehousing Practices) in compliance with DOLE-OSHC regulations.

2. Inventory Control & Stock Freshness

• Enforce strict FEFO/FIFO (First-Expired-First-Out / First-In-First-Out) physical workflows to prevent product expiration, damage, and inventory write-offs.




• Direct daily cycle counting programs and lead quarterly/annual wall-to-wall physical inventory counts to maintain a 99%+ inventory accuracy rate.




• Own local facility storage quality (temperature/humidity logs, pest control management, damaged-goods segregation) to complement regulatory handling standards.

3. Domestic Dispatch & Local Distribution

• Oversee daily staging and dispatch schedules for domestic orders headed to Modern Trade key accounts (e.g., SM Market, Robinsons, Puregold) and Traditional Trade distributors across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.




• Lead local dock scheduling and yard management to ensure minimal truck turnaround times at our distribution center.




• Track local 3PL delivery performance and local trucking fleet providers against Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

4. Operational Cross-Functional Synergy

• Seamlessly receive inbound shipments into the facility post-customs clearance, taking ownership of the stock at dock-in.




• Provide accurate real-time inventory counts to the Shipments & Regulatory Manager to support their reorder planning and import forecasting.




• Coordinate with internal sales and customer service teams to resolve order discrepancies, short-shipments, or warehouse-driven delivery rejections.

5. Leadership & Resource Management

• Directly manage Warehouse Staff, Inventory Controllers, Forklift Operators, and third-party manpower agency personnel.




• Monitor operational metrics: Order Fill Rate, Dock-to-Stock Time, Inventory Accuracy, Labor Efficiency, and Cost Per Unit (CPU).




• Plan shift schedules and manage manpower allocation during peak seasonal surges (e.g., Q4 holiday surges, 11.11/12.12 campaign spikes).

• Operational & Floor Leadership: Strong ability to direct ground-level operations, motivate warehouse supervisors and agency workers, and enforce discipline and safety on the floor.




• FMCG Inventory & FEFO Mastery: Expert knowledge of high-velocity inventory control, batch traceability, stock rotation, and damage prevention protocols.




• Process & Efficiency Optimization: Analytical capability to review workflows, leverage 5S/Lean methodologies, and design efficient layouts that eliminate throughput bottlenecks.




• Crisis Management & Decision-Making: Swift problem-solving skills under pressure to handle unexpected surge volumes, system outages, dock congestion, or delivery rejections.




• Vendor & 3PL Performance Management: Strong oversight capability to hold local trucking vendors, fleet partners, and manpower agencies accountable to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).




• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work smoothly alongside the parallel Shipments & Regulatory Manager, sales, and customer service teams to maintain uninterrupted product flow.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.




• Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics, with 2–3 years in a leadership capacity within the FMCG, Food & Beverage, or CPG industry.




• Systems Expertise: Heavy operational experience using WMS and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan, or equivalent) with strong Excel skills.




• Operational Skills: Expertise in warehouse layout optimization, labor planning, and cycle count methodologies.




• Leadership & Language: Fluent in English and Tagalog; demonstrated experience managing warehouse supervisors, shift workers, and third-party agency manpower.
